Darashaw Foundation was established in 2005 with the objective to support and undertake socially useful programs for welfare and sustainable development of the society.
We believe that growth and development are effective only when they result in pervasive access to opportunities and benefits to a broader section of society.
Our efforts are aimed towards health, education, skill development, creating opportunities for employment /self-employment and promote greater social impact.
We have been lending support to groups and organisations who have been transparently working for social change.
Darashaw Foundation focuses on the below four areas of social developments:
We have devoted our time to promote child and youth development by assisting organisations that help students pursue education and higher studies. We aim to bring far reaching impact on the social system by reducing the entrenched forms of inequality.
We assist organisations working towards the empowerment of women. These organisations generally provide vocational training and education to women of all ages and help them develop and improve skills and abilities. It enables them to work and survive independently, to lead a nurturing life.
Disaster Relief and Aid
We also support causes and initiatives that provide disaster relief and aids in rescue work in case of calamities. We not only assist in mobilising funds but also partner with other stakeholders to help in disaster relief.
We sponsor programs and organisations that help provide assistance in medical and health care to the underprivileged members of the society.
Promoting Small Artisans
We support organisations that primarily take interest in safeguarding and promoting the art that form a part of the Indian heritage. We seek to maintain and preserve the condition of various art forms and encourage the manifestation of culture and practices followed by various communities and tribes within India.
